    Located in the eastern portion of Burlington County is Cinnaminson Township, NJ. The township borders the Delaware River and is a suburb of Philadelphia. As of the 2010 census, the township had a population just over 15,500 residents. Donald Brauckmann is the current mayor of this municipality. Cinnaminson got its unique name from the Lenni Lenape Indian word "Senamensing," which means "sweet water." The sweet water references sugar maple trees that once grew along the township's boundaries. Routes 73 and 90 pass directly through Cinnaminson.
