    Brielle, NJ is a small borough located at the southern tip of Monmouth County along the Manasquan River. Brielle was incorporated as a borough in 1919 from portions of Wall Township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature. Thomas B. Nicol is the current mayor of this municipality. The borough is primarily a residential community of single homes and few condominiums. Thomas F. Nolan is the municipal clerk and borough administrator. As of the 2010 census, the population of Brielle was 4,774 residents. The municipal court in Brielle hears only a couple of disorderly persons charges, as well as an average of 25 traffic tickets & DWI cases on the docket every week.
